The RealmForge community is growing, and it needs someone to help keep the Discord and socials friendly, answered and active.

What makes a great fit

• You play RealmForge, or games like it, and enjoy helping other players
• You're friendly, patient and clear in writing
• Experience moderating a Discord server or running a social account is a plus
• You can stay calm with frustrated players and know when to pass something up

The details

• Paid weekly as an independent contractor
• Remote; applicants must be 18 or older
• Not open to California residents at this time
• Staff can't take part in the weekly sweepstakes or prize giveaways while in the role

Volunteer Moderator Unpaid volunteer · Remote · Discord + Realm Chat

Help keep the RealmForge Discord and the in-game Realm Chat a friendly, welcoming place for every Forger. This is a volunteer role for players who love the community and want to look after it.

What moderators do

• Keep Discord channels and Realm Chat friendly and on topic, and remove spam, scams and abuse
• Give warnings, short timeouts and mutes under the rules
• Answer common questions from other players
• Pass bigger issues, like missing rewards, account problems and bug reports, straight to the team

What makes a great fit

• You play RealmForge and are part of the community, in game or on Discord
• You're friendly, patient and fair with everyone
• You can keep a secret. Moderators sometimes see things before players do
• Moderation experience is a plus, but not required

The details

• Unpaid volunteer role, with no schedule and no minimum hours. Help when you want to, and step down any time
• Moderators get the Moderator role and access to the staff channels
• Remote; applicants must be 18 or older
• Moderators sign a short Volunteer Moderator Agreement, which includes a confidentiality agreement
