Privacy Policy: EEA, UK and Switzerland Addendum

This EEA, UK and Switzerland Addendum (“Addendum”) supplements, and forms part of, the RealmForge Privacy Policy (the “Policy”). It applies to users located in the European Economic Area (“EEA”), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, and explains how we handle your personal data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation, the UK General Data Protection Regulation and Data Protection Act 2018, and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (together, the “Data Protection Laws”). Where this Addendum conflicts with the Policy, this Addendum prevails for users located in those countries. Capitalized terms used in this Addendum have the meanings given in the Policy unless otherwise defined here.

1. Who Is Responsible for Your Data

Joslin Solutions LLC, at the address in Section 10, is the controller of the personal data described in the Policy and this Addendum.

2. What We Collect

We collect and use the categories of personal data described in the Policy. If your app store account is registered in a country covered by this Addendum, we also record the country of your app store account to determine which features are available to you. Essence redemption is available only to residents of the United States, and the Weekly Prize Drawing is not available in certain countries, as described in the Terms of Service and the Official Sweepstakes Rules.

3. Our Legal Bases

We process your personal data on the following legal bases:

• Contract. To create and maintain your account, save your progress, provide the game and its features, process in-app purchases, and respond to support requests.
• Legitimate interests. To keep the Services secure, prevent fraud and cheating, fix problems, and understand how the Services are used so we can improve them. We balance these interests against your rights, and you may object as described in Section 6.
• Consent. To show personalized advertising, to use advertising identifiers and similar technologies on your device where consent is required, and to share information with Offer Partners when you choose to use the offerwall or survey wall. You may withdraw consent at any time, as described in Section 4. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that took place before you withdrew it.
• Legal obligation. To comply with tax, accounting, and other legal requirements.

4. Advertising and Your Consent

The App shows advertising served by Google AdMob. Before we request an advertisement for you, the App asks for your choices through Google’s consent message, which Google operates as a certified consent management platform. If you do not consent, advertisements may still appear, but they will be non-personalized and will not be based on your advertising identifier or your activity in other apps.

You can review or change your choices at any time by opening your Profile in the App and selecting Ad Privacy Choices. You can also reset or limit your advertising identifier through your device settings: on iOS, through the App Tracking Transparency prompt and Settings; on Android, through the ads settings on your device. More information about how Google uses data is available in Google’s own privacy settings and policies.

5. International Transfers

We are located in the United States, and our systems and databases are in the United States. Your personal data is therefore transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States as a normal part of using the Services. Some of our service providers are established in other countries, including our Offer Partner ayeT-Studios GmbH in Germany. Where we transfer personal data outside the EEA, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland to a country that has not been found to provide an adequate level of protection, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission (and the UK and Swiss equivalents), or on a provider’s certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and its UK and Swiss extensions where that applies. 6. Your Rights

Subject to the conditions and exceptions in the Data Protection Laws, you have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy of it;
• have inaccurate personal data corrected;
• have your personal data deleted;
• restrict our processing of your personal data;
• receive personal data you provided to us in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format and have it transmitted to another controller;
• object at any time to processing based on our legitimate interests, and to processing for direct marketing; and
• withdraw your consent at any time where we rely on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, email info@realmforgeapp.com. You can also delete your account in the App, as described in the Policy. We will respond within one month of receiving your request, and may extend that period where the Data Protection Laws permit. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

7. Automated Decisions

We use automated checks to detect fraud and cheating. These checks may place a reward request on hold, but they do not by themselves make a decision that produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you. Every held request is reviewed by a person.

8. Retention

We keep personal data for as long as described in the Policy, and no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, unless a longer period is required by law.

9. Complaints

If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal data, please contact us first at info@realmforgeapp.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the country where you live or work or where you believe an infringement took place. In the United Kingdom, this is the Information Commissioner’s Office. In Switzerland, this is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner.
