Official Rules: Canada Addendum
Last Updated: September 21, 2026 · Effective Date: October 15, 2026
This Canada Addendum (“Addendum”) supplements, and forms part of, the RealmForge Official Sweepstakes Rules (the “Rules”) for the Weekly Prize Drawing (“Promotion”). It applies only to residents of Canada, including the Province of Quebec. Where this Addendum conflicts with the Rules, this Addendum prevails for residents of Canada. Capitalized terms have the meanings given in the Rules unless otherwise defined here.
1. Availability in Canada
The Services are currently offered to residents of all Canadian provinces and territories, including Quebec, and the Promotion is open to those residents. The Promotion is void where prohibited by applicable law.
2. Eligibility in Canada
In addition to the eligibility requirements in the Rules, participation is open only to residents of Canada, including Quebec, who are at least the age of majority in their province or territory of residence. The age of majority is eighteen (18) in Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Quebec, and Saskatchewan, and nineteen (19) in British Columbia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, the Northwest Territories, Nova Scotia, Nunavut, and the Yukon.
3. No Purchase and Genuine Free Entry
No purchase, payment, or consideration is required to enter or win. The Alternative Method of Entry (“AMOE”) described in Section 6 of the Rules remains available to residents of Canada on equal terms, with no purchase required and no requirement to engage with any advertisement. Standard postage to the United States mailing address in the Rules applies. A Canadian resident may enter the Promotion by the AMOE and will receive entries equal in value and effect to entries obtained through any in-app method.
For the avoidance of doubt, no requirement to complete a third-party Reward Task, watch an advertisement, or make any purchase is imposed on any Canadian resident as a condition of entry, and no such activity increases the odds of winning under the Promotion.
4. Skill-Testing Question
To win a prize, a selected entrant who is a resident of Canada must correctly answer, without assistance, a multi-step mathematical skill-testing question administered by the Sponsor in the App. The prize is held, and is not credited to the entrant’s account, until the question is answered correctly.
(a) How it works. The selected entrant is notified in-app the next time they open the App. When they choose to begin, a question is shown and must be answered within sixty (60) seconds. Closing the App or the notice does not restart the time or change the question.
(b) Deadline to begin. The selected entrant must begin the question within thirty (30) days after the drawing.
(c) Forfeiture and alternate. If the selected entrant answers incorrectly, does not answer within the time allowed, or does not begin within the deadline, the prize is forfeited, and the Sponsor will select an alternate entrant at random from the remaining eligible entries for that weekly entry period. An alternate who is a resident of Canada is subject to this Section in the same way.
5. Disclosures
The Sponsor discloses the following, as required by the Competition Act and any applicable provincial requirements:
- Number of prizes: one (1) prize for each weekly entry period, as described in Section 7 of the Rules.
- Prize and approximate retail value: as stated in Section 10 of the Rules. All values stated in the Rules are in United States dollars.
- Regional allocation: none. Prizes are not allocated by region.
- Odds: the odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the weekly entry period, as described in Section 7(c) of the Rules.
6. Taxes
Canadian residents are solely responsible for any taxes arising from a prize. Where required by law, the Sponsor may issue the appropriate Canadian tax reporting forms.
7. Privacy
Personal information collected from Canadian residents in connection with the Promotion is collected, used, and disclosed in accordance with the RealmForge Privacy Policy and the Canada Addendum to that policy.
8. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
Sections 16 (Dispute Resolution) and 17 (Governing Law) of the Rules do not apply to residents of Canada. Section 7 of the Canada Addendum to the Terms of Service (Dispute Resolution and Governing Law) applies to the Promotion instead: there is no requirement to arbitrate, no class action waiver, and the laws and courts of your province or territory of residence apply.
9. Language
A French version of this Addendum and of all documents relating to it has been made available to you before you accepted them, in accordance with the Charter of the French Language (Quebec). Having had access to that French version, the parties have expressly requested that this Addendum and all documents relating to it be drawn up in English.
